1962 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Description

1962 VW Dual Cab Pickup. Straight body, some rust, good upholstery, all glass intact, good tires, all sides of bed in decent shape and operable, 1600 motor, 4 syncro transmission, gear reduction boxes. This was my work truck and daily driver from 1974 to 2014, last year registered. Have both bumpers and set of original domed vw emblem hubcaps. Original, such small modifications and omissions as there are can be easily corrected. Painted in 1986, required body work on lower quarter panel under back door and rear corners. Will need door passenger door handle and window latches, floor mats, interior panels. When I parked it 2 years ago, it was regularly in service, but that was it's last day at work. This is not offered as a runner. Engine, trans, and brakes will need overhauling. An excellent candidate for restoration. Complete 99%. Compares far better than most "cores"
