1963 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Description

1963 Type 2 VW Single cab. The engine is a single port that has been rebuilt by myself with the help of Rick Higgans from Bug Me Video. It has approx 600 miles on it since rebuild. Rancho Pro street trans with super diff, aluminum side plates, welded 3rd and 4th with approx 1500 miles since new. Type3 drums and Wolfgang Int. freeway flyer kit in the rear. Up front it has 3inch drop spindles on a 4inch narrowed adjustable beam from KCW. As for the body it is decent. typical rust here and there. Treasure chest floor is solid. Bed is decent. Bottom of the gates had the normal holes but still function fine. Jack points have rust. Up front the bottom of the nose has a little rust...Overall body is decent not a rust bucket. The previous owner he had it media blasted and primed it with the rusty metal primer. I cleared it. I threw some pinstripes on the nose and here and there. I painted the roof and dash with Kandy lacquer in a hibiscus flower print with heavy abalone flake in the base and clear coat. The seat covers are hand made from mexico blanket (serape). Behind the seats I made matching custom 6x9 speaker boxes from the same mexico blanket I used for the seats. I wet sanded and polished them and the look like glass! The stereo is mounted under the fresh air vent and it is also covered in the same mexico blanket. Custom wood door panels and front kick panels. The headliner is also custom wood covered with surf stickers that I buried in clear coat, so easy to clean and they don't peel off! Custom hand painted tiki horn button and shift knob with surf board mirror. Front and rear safari windows from Wolfgang Int. I made a rack for the longboards. The rack will unbolt and disassemble for easy storing if desired. Wherever you go in this ride you will stand out! Chip Foose was at the local ford dealership he loved it! He autographed and drew a cartoon single cab above the passenger sunvisor spot seen in the pics. Overall this thing will turn heads wherever you go! Very unique and different! The auction is for the 1963 VW only.. I will include the Ron Jon surfboads and matching custom painted longboard skateboard if you click the "Buy it now" price.Check out the video below:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TueJHsai6FEhttps://www.facebook.com/luke.gladys.3/videos/2465724253455738/?t=27
