I am selling my 1986 VW Cabriolet with 27,553 actual miles. This is a "Barn Find" type car. I purchased it to restore, but I just have not had the time. The body is in excellent condition for a 30 year old car. I have never seen an unrestored VW of this era with as little rust as this one has. This is a restorer's dream car. I hate to let it go, but I'm ready to. The convertible top is in good condition but does have a couple of small tears and will need to be replaced eventually. The inside is in good condition, but needs a good cleaning. It has a brand new air conditioning compressor that blows cold. The engine is the main thing that needs work. The engine starts and runs, but it runs rough. I installed a new carburetor. I have also had the brakes replaced. In short, I have poured a lot of money into it. My loss is your gain. Once again, if you know these cars, you will not find another 1986 VW Cabriolet in this condition. This car is priced to sell quickly.
