1973 Volkswagen Thing Description

I have owned this car now for 3.5 years. It is very dependable. It gets a lot of attention. it comes with a tan soft top (one duct tape repair). One of the tires is brand new. hubcaps will be chrome that the new owner will receive. original seats--one has a duct tape repair. solid car with no holes in the floors. original wooden "floor mats". needs a headlight switch and some bulbs checked as one directional doesn't work, brakes lights do not work, and headlights do not work. headlights used to work, but I believe the pull-switch has gradually went bad. rebuilt motor has less than 2000 miles on it. the brakes were done at that point as well--August 2012. It runs at 70 on the highway with no problem. It has an original heater which i never used, but likely the fuse just needs to be reset--it's all there. Horn works. German muffler. New 12V starter! turn key & get ready for fun in the sun! titled, registered in my name.
