1984 Vanagon Westfalia Camper
1984 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Description
Van has NEW : Radiator, Clutch, Clutch slave cylinder, Exhaust pipes, Upper ball joints, Lower ball joints, Outer tie rod ends, Upper control arm bushings., 3-window canvas, Front blower motor, Washer pump, Battery cables, Thermostat, Temperature sender, Oil change, Wipers and Shifter bushings. I went though this van and replaced/repaired anything I found wrong AND made some upgrades to keep it from going wrong. The interior is particularly nice with some cosmetic issues on the exterior. The van is READY TO GO. It just passed inspection. The van was purchased and the repairs made with the idea that a family member wanted her own Westfalia and, after ALL was said and done, she wanted an AUTOMATIC van which this is not. (insert growly faced emojie) This is a strong running, nice driving van.The odometer had stopped working and I got it with the title marked as the mileage was not correct. I have replaced the non-working speedo and it now shows LESS than the 200+K I got it with. Actual mileage on this vehicle is unknown! It went on a several hundred mile 3 day weekend the end of last month without any problems. Sink, stove and fridge all work. I have my own 84 Westfalia and I don't need a 2nd one. The van is sold AS IS. That means all the good stuff AND any bad stuff that may happen is yours to enjoy. You buy it and, at the end of the driveway, it explodes into a ball of flame and shrapnel? My responsibility ends at calling 911.
I am heading out after May 15th. I can possibly deliver this after that. Check with me BEFORE bidding to work out the details if you're interested in that.
The van is located in south-western Virginia with easy access from I-81. Come see/drive or at least ask questions BEFORE bidding!Cheers..
