I am selling my '74 VW Thing. If you know what you are looking at, then you know these are one of a kind and getting more and more rare! Only reason I am selling it is to clear up some funds to purchase a GTR. as freshly rebuilt 1600cc motor mated to a smooth shifting manual transmission. This would be my first aircooled VW that has not left spots of oil everywhere, and I have owned alot! The previous owner to me, owned it since 1983. The Thing was kept indoors all its life and has little to no rust. The paint is in great shape as well as the interior. I have all the original side windows that are still in great shape. The top is original and in excellent shape with only minor yellowing of the rear window. All the seats are intact with no tears or rips.
