1991 Volvo 240 Description

This is a very nice Volvo 240 with 68,000 original miles. The miles are verified via CARFAX. I am a 240 lover and searched and searched and finally found this car which I had every intention of fixing up to be a "perfect" car. Since purchasing the car 6 months ago I've driven about 300 miles. I haven't even vacuumed or cleaned the exterior of the car. I simply do not have time with three kids under 5 and my delusions that I'd be able to put any time into my toy. My wife does not share the same affinity for what was once my first car, and so My dreams have been dashed.
I follow these cars on Ebay and know that true low mileage ones are rare. This particular car was purchased at the Local Volvo Dealer, where my dad was actually the Volvo manager at the time. It was serviced there and Eventually purchased by me through a stroke of Craigslist luck. The miles are true, which is the major highlight to this car.
Judging by the lack of quality of this ebay posting, you should realize that I simply just don't have time to tackle this correctly. I'd love to have 50 pictures. I'd love to get it up on a lift, and if anybody has request for that or if I can find some time over the next week I'll try to do that.
From my own inspection of the vehicle here is the "bad" or what I would fix.
The door pockets are missing in the front. Pretty typical, easy to get. There are a few dings here and there but nothing crazy. The RF fender has been repainted, and not well. I was hoping to find a same color original fender that hasn't been painted, rather than to paint it again... I have not done this. There are some weird hub caps on the car, not Volvo. The wheels are steel rims. The back of the LR wheel well is dented in a bit. (this would be the biggest body item, but is still pretty minor)There are a few dings on the deck lid.The car isn't perfect, but IT HAS 68,000 miles!!!!
The Good:It's a local car, it wasn't driven a lot, and the interior is extremely clean. 90% of the paint is original, the underneath of the car is all clean, and there is no rust that I have been able to find. This is the perfect car to make into "the perfect 240". As they say you can't shine a turd, but this is not that car. I probably looked at 15 or so before I purchased this one, excited I had found the one. So, the best laid plans....
Sorry for the lack of good pics, I'll work on that. I'll try to highlight the blemish areas as well. The car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to pull it off and sell it here at any time.
In VT and NH, they don't issue titles over 15 years, or in NH now older than 2,000. So, I do have a registration for the car, which should allow you in a State that does title to verify VIN in order to get a title. I'm not sure of this exactly, so buyer be ware as far as the title goes. (do your own research)
Happy bidding, and email me ANY questions you may have.
