1979 Volvo TGB211 A MT 6x6 Description

For sale is an ex. Swedish military Volvo TGB211 A MT troop transporter. Seats 20 on 2 bench seats, mounted lengthwise. Individual seat belts for each seating position. Engine coolant fed heater keeps occupants comfortable in cold weather. The top and sides are insulated with canvas on both sides.
This truck has the 3 liter inline six, commonly found in the Volvo 164 with dual Stromberg carburetors, rated at 117hp.
The ZF transmission has 10 forward speeds, 5 high and 5 low and 2 reverse speeds. During normal operation in high gear the truck's two rear axles are driven, in low gear or when activated separately, it is driven on all wheels.
Each axle has a vacuum actuated diff-lock that can be engaged on the go.
Portal axle ends behind each wheel gives this truck excellent ground clearance.
