1993 Volvo 240 Classic Description

Super clean 1993 Volvo240 Classicwagon. 1 of only 1600 produced for the North American market. This one has been enthusiast owned from day 1 and always well maintained and pampered. The paint looks amazing and the body is completely rust free. All trim, moldingsand emblems are in great shape, and are completely intact, which is rare for these cars at this age. All maintenance due is completely up to date and this car needs nothing done to it to be driven anywhere. Fly in and drive home if you would like, or I can help you arrange shipping if necessary. The interior of this car is in amazing shape, all seats, carpets, door pockets, console, rare wood trim, and headliner are perfect. The seats are amazingly comfortable as these cars are known for, and the lumbar support feature in them works perfectly. The heater motor and resistor have been replaced, which is a hugejob on 240's as many know. The Factory R134a A/C system works great and is ice cold, the last 240's made in 1992 and 1993 had much improved A/C systems over the earlier models. The heat is hot, and the updated CD/ Bluetooth stereo works great. Mechanically I have fully serviced the car with a new timing belt, water pump, valve cover gasket, front seals, belts, oil, transmission and rear end service. New brakes front and rear, recent complete exhaust system, new front control arm bushings and engine and transmission mounts. It also has 4 brand new tires and a 4 wheel alignment. Tune up was donewithin last 2 years along with the exhaust and has veryfew miles on it. Also has a new mass air sensor and oxygen sensor, no check engine light issues at all, and no leaks or squeaks. In person this looks like a 60k mile car, it drives like new, and will last forever. Parts are very available, and reasonably priced and they are very simple cars to maintain and service, which explains why they have become so collectiblein recent years as many people want what they had in the past, and also cars that you can still work on yourself if you choose to. Also no 0BD2 inspection and check engine light worries like so many newer cars have. It is eligiblefor classic insurance through Hagerty and other companies and can be insured for under $200 a year.
