Runs and Drives Great. Shifts properly. Rides very smooth.Steering is tight and firm. Brakes smoothly as well.
Good tires and brakes. Tires match all the way around and have more than half their tread life left. Recent tune up (plugs/wires), oil change, and coolant flush. AC was converted over to R134. The AC is very cold and works properly. The heat works properly as well.No leaks apparent.
Body is in great shape. No accidents, No dents, No dings, No deep scratches. No rust.
Paint shines nicely, but the roof and trunk lid do show a little sun fade (see last two photos), that aside the body is in beautiful shape. The original taillights were a bit sunfaded, they've been replaced with shorter OEM ones that are in much better shape. The originals are in the trunk.
Interior is extremely clean, and all original. This has all the power options; both front seats, windows, lock, sunroof, mirrors, antenna, etc. Original radio and speakers work as they should. I presume the tape deck works as well, I don't have any cassette's to test it. All the panels are in good shape, as is the headliner. Seats are in good shape as well, they're obviously not perfect, but no rips or cuts in the leather, just some minor cracking from age.
This car is in excellent shape, but it is a 30 year old vehicle. It has a few quirks, I've noted them below.
- The windshield wiper cowl vent/grille is cracked throughout, you can see it in the second engine photo. You can't see it with the hood closed, and it's not affecting anything right now, but it's something to make note of.- The sunroof may or may not work. I've never used it. The previous owner I bought it from noted that it didn't work all that well, and in fear of getting it stuck open, I've never used it.- The front strut mounts are starting to wear. You won't notice anything while driving, but if you hit a bumpy driveway entry, you may hear a slight clunk. Everything else in the front end seems to be tight and in order.- Occasionally, when starting the car warm, it will idle low for a few seconds, but after that it picks right up fine, and idles as it should.
I am the 4th owner, but I've only had it for a few months. I bought it from an elderly gentlemen, that used it seasonally, he kept it garaged. I've also kept it in the garage. I unfortunatelywill be losing my garage space, and rather than store the vehicle outside, I'm opting to sell it. It's a very reliable and safe car. I would not hesitate to take it anywhere.
I will not ship the car for you, but I will assist with shipping within reason. The balance due will need to be paid in cash, in person. I may consider other options, but it depends on the amount and situation.
