1951 Willys Model 38 Truck M38 Description

1951 Willys M38 Military Jeep

Vin#MC12085

The last of the true flat fender Jeeps. The M38 was used in the Korean war and was built from 1950-1952 with only 45,000 produced. It's predecessor the WWII Willy's MB/GPW had a massive production run which topped off in the area of 650,000 units. The more rare and desirable M38 was a great improvement over it's predecessor. Major upgrades included a reinforced frame and suspension, the water fording ventilation system and a waterproof 24 volt electrical system.

This fully restored M38 carries it original body. Body off framerestored, both cosmetically and mechanically to new. This M38 carries an original military radio and a 30 caliber machine gun and mount (non firing).

This is a real Willys Army Jeep, not a put together vehicle or a civilian Jeep restored to a military look. Thisvehicle was restored by Jeep / Willys people with a combined 60 + yrs of experience. The Jeep starts easily, runs, shifts and stops as new. A Willys you will be proud to own.
