1952 Willys M38 Military Jeep
Vin# 61408
The last of the true flat fender Jeeps. The M38 was used in the Korean war and was built from 1950-1952 with only 45,000 produced. It's predecessor the WWII Willy's MB/GPW had a massive production run which topped off in the area of 650,000 units. The more rare and desirable M38 was a great improvement over it's predecessor. Major upgrades included the water fording ventilation system and a waterproof 24 volt electrical system.
This fully restored M38 carries it original body. Fully restored every nut and bolt, cosmetically and mechanically to new. This Jeep has been body off frame restored to the highest level. It carries a .30 Caliber Browning Machine Gun and mount (not operational). Itretains it's authentic 24 volt electricalsystem andhas been treated tofreshcanvas seats and top. All gauges and lights are inworking order. All deep water fording cables and valves are present.
