Very nice Rambler sedan in which I purchased out of California. Car has been painted and redone by a previous owner. A 215 cu.in. Buick alum. block V-8 and RotoHydramatic three speed automatic transmission (the early weird ones where Reverse is all the way to the right). The engine serial number indicates a 1962 model. Engine and trans. were installed without any alterations to the firewall or inner fenders. The trans. hump also retains it's original shape. One could put thecorrect engine and trans back in if wanted without having to deal with any previous alterations. The interior has been redone in vinyl along with the headliner and the trunk has been carpeted. The seats look good but the door panels could use re stretched and glued.
The car has new tires, newrear shocks and a remanufactured carburetorNew dual exhaust with moderately aggressive mufflers, for a 215 anyway. It needs some door seals and window felt replaced/installed. There is some damage to thevalance underneath the front bumper and some damage to the side trim on the rear driver side. The bumpers arevery nice like new condition. Grill is very nice, bright and very presentable. Door handles are also very nice. The car comes with the full disc hubcaps which are pictured. I planto keep the beauty rings and dog dishes.Unibody structure is very solid along with fenders, doors etc. Seemed to have been a very solid car to begin with.
Added gauges work, as well as the gas gauge . It does need a speedometer cable so the actual mileage is unknown.
The Rambler runs out and drives well......well.....for a Rambler.
The car is for sale locally so I do reserve the right to end the auction early.Clear Ohio title,I do have some used parts that can be purchased separately. Inspection prior to bidding is welcomed and encouraged. Feel free to contact me with questions or for additional photos. She's not perfect by any means but gets lots of attention. I have had a lot of fun with it.
Happy Bidding!
