A total of 3745 (2540 coupes and 1205 sedans) 320is were built for the Italian and Portuguese markets between 1988 and 1990. Nicknamed the ‘Italian M3’, the 320is is powered by a 2.0L version of the famous S14 engine. Despite the slight displacement difference due to a shortened stroke the otherwise nearly identical S14B20 produces just 8hp less than the USA market M3 S14B23. Some argue that driving the 320isis a better experience than the M3 of the same generation. All I will say is that this is an incredibly unique car that provides unending thrills whether you find yourselfdriving through the windingmountains of Northern Italy oracross the long straight roads of America.
This is a well preserved, all original vehicle that has been meticulously maintained and garage kept. The vehicle is currently located in Orlando, FL. There are six know 320is coupes in the USA. I have imported two of them. Of the other four, two of them are track cars and one of those track cars has been completely modified and fit with an LS motor.
