1979 Chevrolet Camaro Drag car Description

*. ** 1979 Camaro drag car. Body is in good shape, not perfect but still presentable and useable as it sits. (It has a sunroof) Frame looks perfect from what I can see, floors good, has roll bar that looks to have been prof done, welds look good. 5 point belts but are expired. Has dash from a 71 Camaro. Auto meter gauges, tilt steering column. B&M pro stick shifter, doors have been gutted and has lexan windows (they need to be polished or replaced) steel hood with scoop. Engine is a rebuilt 350 with only a handful of passes on it since it was freshened in 2002, .030 over, GM 2.02 bowtie heads #14011034, comp flat tappet cam 12-609-5. .250/.260@.050. .532/.555 on a 106 center. (Nasty idle), Larger ARP screw in studs, crane gold roller rockers, stud girdle, edelbrock Victor Jr intake, Moroso spacer, Proform 750cfm race carb, high flow water pump with electric drive motor. MSD billet distributor and Pro power coil with 7AL-2 ignition box. hooker 1.75 primary tube super comp headers with header mufflers (it's still very loud). Trans is a TH400, 3500 stall converter, aluminum deep finned pan. I was told it's a reverse manual valve body but I've only driven it on and off the trailer so not 100% sure. It has a driveshaft loop, rear end is a 12 bolt, multi leaf springs, traction bars. I'm not sure if it's a posi or a spool and don't know what it has for gears. (I'll update once I get time to check) fuel system is a Harwood cell in the trunk, Holley blue pump, holley regulator with pressure gauge mounted up front. The car comes rolling on weld skinnys in front and factory 71 z28 wheels in rear. Also includes the matching rear Weld wheels with Hoosier slicks. (All tires have dry rot). As it sits the car fires right and and runs well, sounds very healthy. It has not been raced in years but was always routinely started and then ran out of gas and parked dry. It's not been left sitting with fuel in the carb, and only been run on VP110 race fuel. It should have a basic tune up and all fluids changed before taking it to the track again. It will start and drive on a trailer no problem.the car ran high 11's/low 12's. I have a stack of old slips as well as a receipt from engine rebuild. I think I have listed everything I can think of. If you have a question ASK IT, if you have less than 5 feedback you must contact me or your bid may be cancelled. FULL PAYMENT is due within 3 days, car should be picked up within a few weeks. I can help with transport and provide a contact person as well. This is an old race car and DOES NOT HAVE A TITLE!! it has its orig vin tag and will be sold with a bill of sale only. This car came to me from NH which is a non title state (google it), it was not titled, they don't issue titles to cars this old. So please don't ask me for one. Again, it's sold with a BILL OF SALE ONLY!
