1973 Chevrolet Camaro Description

I am list this 1973 Camaro Type LT RS for a friend of mine who does doesn't have an EBay account.

Ok the Car is a 1973 Type LT with the Rally Sport Package. The car has less than 14,000 original miles, Not a roll over or roll back. It is 14,000 actual miles.

It was purchased from the original owners daughter last November..

The car I guess was bought new in 1973, driven a couple ofsummersthen wastaken to Bill Lake Buick for a "drive train upgrade".

The car came originally witha 350/th350and a 10 bolt..

Was swapped at a local Dealer in 1975 or 76 for the drivetrain that is in it now...

The Body and interior are completely original.

Interior

No wear on the seats, Door panels are beautiful. Carpet is original and in beautiful shape.Dash has never been apart (other than the 80's Kenwood Cassette upgrade lol)and is in great shape.

All lights and gauges work as they should. (except clock and amp gauge)

Seat belts look as though they have never been used.

The interior in this Camaro is as nice as I have ever seen, And the fact that its never been apart makes for a very rattle free ride..

Body..

The Car has less than 14,000 miles has never seen road salt or snow. Has only gotten caught in the rain on a handful of occasions.. All body panels and paint are original to the car. The paint is in extremely good shape for being 43 years old. Aside from a few small dings and scratches you would be very hard pressed to find a nicer original paint car from this era.

Now for the Drivetrain..

The original motor was replaced with an IU suffix code 1968 427/435 hp has 427/435 hp cast iron heads, anoriginal LS6 454 intake,Holley 750 carb and a Mallory ignition.

Trans is a period correct TH400 that was gone thru and made to support the horsepower that the 427 puts out..

The rear is a BV code 12 bolt with 4.11 gears...

All systems have been gone thru this year, and the car is completely safe to drive on the roads..

It is very powerful and drives very well.

The car is has been a favorite at the local car shows and cruise ins an would be a welcome addition to any ones collection.

I can answer most questions about the Camaro but offers will be forwarded to the owner. I have bought and sold on Ebay for quite awhile, I take pride in my perfect feedback score so I try to be as honest and forthcoming in all listings.

I tried to describe the car to the best of my knowledge but no ones perfect, if you have an questions or Ive missed something please let me know...

Update...

To answer the most common questions,

The car is completely solid, all original body panels, floors, trunk pan, and rear rails. The car really never saw weather so is in great shape...

I'm actually amazed at how well the paint has held up all these years, and the pictures do not do the color justice, you have to see this car in person...

It is a 11 to 1 compression ratio 427 and itdoes run on premium gas, runs better on a 3 to 1 mix with cam 2 but does run fine on premium..

It is completely road worthy, with the 4.11 gears I wouldn't recommend driving it on the interstate but state route road trips are completelyfine... and really fun.. :)

It is a rather rare color combo of Dark Green with the White vinyl top and neutral interior, coupled with the fact that ithas a factory column shift, you can almost guarantee you'll never see another one on the road like it.

Actually I believe I read only 640 Type LT's got a column shift out of 32,000 cars made that year.

Also all of the glove box paperwork is still with the car,and it is a Norwood built Camaro so there may be a build sheet in the car somewhere. IWILL NOTpull interior pieces out to try and find it.

The car still actually has the original wiper blades as they have never really been used...

True the car does not have its original drivetrain, but in 73 the horsepower offerings were sad to say the least. The drivetrain that's in it is very powerful and built very well, and at a glance is set up to look as though it was meant to be in the car...

All and all this is a very low mile, rust free, Type LT Camaro. It is truly a nice car and will make an awesome addition to any ones collection....

The reserve is very reasonable for the quality of car you will be getting...

The car is listed for sale and not for gauging of its value. Iwould welcome anythird party inspections and can make the car available to view.

The car will not be released until all funds have cleared...

Thanks for reading, bid happy and bid often..
