1975 Chevrolet Camaro Bumblebee Replica Description

We bought this car to turn into a Bumble Bee replica. It was just ugly and blue and needed a lot of work. We, my husband and I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this car to make it right. My husband did all the mechanical work and I did all the paint and faux rust and cosmetics. My goal was to get it to look as close to the movie car as possible. We even took a trip to Gatlinburg Tenn. to see one of the real movie cars for reference. We also made it a good daily driver as it was our car and we didn’t do this to sell but to take to car shows and just enjoy it. We have enjoyed it but I have to sell so I can afford a touring motorcycle that I want. I can’t have both. We have owned this car for about 5 years and done so many upgrades that I can not even remember them all. The car runs and drives great and it’s definitely a looker. It has a 350 small block, rebuilt 700r transmission, new Edelbrock carb on it, all new plug wires, plugs, hoses, window cranks, console, crager front wheels, summit racing wheels on the rear, B&M shifter, new fuel pump, water pump, new brake master cylinder, air shocks to lift the rear and many more things. I even had the bottom part of the drivers sear reapolstered because it was ripped so bad. Now if you’re looking for a fully restored, immaculant paint job, perfect interior, then this is not the car for you. This Camaro has cracked paint, fake painted on rust, some real rust on the back quarter panel behind the tire. Sometimes it leaks around the windshield in the rain and has a few tears in the seats. All these things however is exactly what a Bumblebee replica car should have. This car has great bones and everything is there if you want to keep it like it is or restore it or just repaint it. I’m ready to pass on the fun and let someone else enjoy this fun car! Happy bidding!
