1955 Chevy NAPCO 3100 Short Box 4x4
1955 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description
1955 Chevrolet 3100 ½ ton shot box Pick Up truck with NAPCO 4x4.It has a decent running Chevy 6 cyl that was recently tuned up with a 4 speed manual trans and dual-lever transfer case. The brakes are new all around, including master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and shoes. Matching rims with decent 16" tires. The lights are functioning. The gas gauge does not currently work. All the glass is good. Electric wiper motor with a fresh pair of wiper blades, too. It's a lifelong Montana ranch truck from the high desert, so the rust is minimal. Although it doesn't ever appear to have been crashed, it definitely has been used as a work truck all of its life, leaving the body with plenty of character. Probably the phrase "used hard and put up wet" applies here, but that's all part of its story. It's got killer patina and gathers plenty of attention at the gas station. The front seat was recovered at some point with black vinyl, so you won't be afraid to get your Wranglers dirty. Overall, it's just a pretty rare model of an old ranch truck that's been resurrected from the back forty. Consider it a running and driving PROJECT that you can use as it is to ride around your acreage with the dog and upgrade as you go. Heck, maybe one day you'd like to do a full restoration. It has a current, clear title ready to transfer. See pics for details.
