Spent a few years at restoration shop and the gloss is outstanding paint is as the photo's show, drive her around the block and you will become a instant Celebrity!
She starts right up (each and every time) the engine is smooth and responsive! She retains her original 3-speed column shift manual (Vacuum assist) transmission, a under seat heater, window vent shakes and outside rear view mirrors newer white wall tires and Argent Silver pinstriped factory wheels with caps. As Jay Leno always ask's Classic Car owners? "Does the horn work"? Yes the horn works, all the gauges work, the lights work (see photo of interior light, yes it works) yes the Clock works the car drives effortlessly (as it should) it does not wander. "A Modest Car for a Man of Means"
Chronicled in several articles the 48 Chevrolet Country Club has been the choice of Important Men throughout time, President Harry Truman owned and drove a 1948 Coupe that very night they announced Thomas E. Dewey had won (mistakenly) Truman had Won the Election and was driving his 48 Coupe.
OHV Inline six-cylinder engine, three-speed manual (vacuum) manual transmission, coil-spring independent front suspension, live rear axle with semi-elliptical leaf springs, and four wheel hydraulic drum brakes, Wheelbase: 116in.

I have owned several Woodies in my lifetime the TC (Town and Country Convertible for example) but at it's extreme length is difficult for ownership in Suburban area's like Southern California, the Woody Wagons are also wonderful but unless you have a large warehouse they are difficult to own. This Model is the size as a normal vehicle and fits nicely in any garage (even single car garage), perfect for Commercial advertisement as well in a Restaurant or Hotel Lobby or out front!
