1968 Dodge Coronet Description

Thank you for looking at my listing. What I have for sale is a very nice 1968 Coronet Superbee restomod. Let me be clear this is not a real Superbee. It is, however, a great looking car built to drive. The 451 roller stroker engine made 550hp on the dyno. It is super reliable and does not get hot even in the Arkansas heat with the A/C blasting. It has been driven approximately 800 miles since restoration in 2014. Clear rock guards have been installed on the rockers and quarters to prevent rock chips. This car has had many modifications to make it easy to drive and very reliable. The motor is the smoothest running engine I've had in a muscle car, and with the EFI it starts up every time with no drama. The specs are as follows:

I can trade up or down for the right vehicle, either late model or classic. Please understand I will not be interested in everything.

A little back ground on the car. It was a very dry car that came out of the southwest. It has been painted since 2010 and there is no evidence of rust anywhere. The paint is really strong. I have extensive pictures of all the door jams, gaps, chrome trim, and overall fit and finish of the car. I also have taken a video of the car starting up, running, making the motor sing, demonstrating the lights, heat and air, and wipers all operating. I also have a book and several restoration photos. The car came from the Denver area and was mostly built by Mopar guru Louie Carbone. You can look up his work on the famous Mopar Project Six Pack. I bought car about 85% done. We finished up the interior, installed vintage heat and air, a new quick ratio steering box, completed the interior, and addressed anything else that popped up while driving it. It's the only classic I've owned that does not leak! The new power steering box took care of that 2 years ago. I will be glad to text the vidoes, and email additional pictures. Just ask and provide me your number.

Please understand this car is being sold AS IS. Even though it has had an extensive restoration it is still a 51 year old car built by humans.

I am willing to ship anywhere in the world. Payment is to be in the form of cash in person, cashiers check, or wire transfer. I will not release the car for shipping until funds have cleared my bank.

I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime.

Thank you.
