1970 Ford Mustang Base Description
1970 Mustang Convertible Base. Unrestored, original paint survivor. Pastel Blue exterior, white top, blue interior. 302 2bbl with c4. 60,500 original miles. I purchased the car out of Texas. It was originally a Colorado car. Still has the original dealer badge on the back of it. Car is in very good condition in and out. Runs and drives great. The car sits 100% stock. The original paint does have some nicks and scratches that have been touched up. Presents very well for 46 yr old paint. All the chrome is very good condition. Interior is beautiful. One crack in dash pad near speaker grill. Comes with original styleFirestone bias ply tires and hubcaps. Ifdesired I have a set ofmagnum 500's with new BFG's that can be purchased separately to go with the car. I did put new motorcraft shocks, new correct marking belts, and a new Autolite battery in car. Spark plugs and Hoses were previously replaced with correct factory marked items. Car has power top with glass back window which works perfectly. I also will include an Elite Marti Report with car. I have it ordered but not received yet. If not in my possession at time of sell I will send it to seller at my expense. It is just a very nice, hard to find original car. Comes with original owners manual, copies of previous titles, window sticker, and a lot of other paper work. I am happy to answer any question. Vechicle is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early if sold locally.
On Oct-12-16 at 11:45:50 PDT, seller added the following information:I have had a suprising amount of activity on the auction and received numerous questions about the car. I am open to showing the car to anyone interested in person if at all possible. The car is in extremely nice shape for a 46 yr old vehicle. There is no rust on the body of the car. The underside of the car has some very light surface rust in the usual places. In all honesty it would clean extremely easy. I have not bothered with it because i intended to show the car at MCA shows as unrestored. They prefer to see it as natural as possible. Approx. 4-5 yrs ago the car was show in that matter and won gold, unfortunately I do not have the paperwork from it. The car is lucky if it has 500 miles since that time. I have a large amount of pictures available and am happy to get any others if needed. Would be happy to send them to any interested parties. The car is listed for sale locally and on other sites with a price that is negotiable. I have a price in mind that I would like to get out of the car, but I did list the reserve price on ebay a little bit below that. Feel free to contact me with any question you may have.
