1980 Ford Other Description

I am selling my 1980 Ford F900 Fire Truck, as is. The truck does start and run well, but does not drive. The third member of the rear axle is shattered. The truck comes with extensive paper maintenance records up until the 1990's.
It is currently parked in Days Creek, Oregon and will need to be towed from the site by the new owner.
The truck features:
  • Clean title
  • 534ci "Super Duty" big block V8 with PTO
  • Western States Fire Apparatus package
  • 1,250gpm American Fire Pump Co water pump
  • 1,000 gallon water tank
  • Factory build sheet is still attached to the interior of the truck (and legible, as pictured)
  • 2 newer batteries
  • All tires appear in good shape (2 newer tires on the inside rear axle)
  • 2x 1.5"x50' attack lines on mechanized hose reels with hoses and nozzles
Vehicle History:
  • 1980: Purchased new by the Newburg, Oregon FD
  • 1980-2015: Active fire service
  • 2015: Donated to the Days Creek Rural FD, delivered to Days Creek Rual FD
  • 2015: Amid mechanical issues(which were never professionally diagnosed) sold at a Public Auction in 2015
  • 2015(November): I purchased the truck in a public auction (site unseen)
  • 2016: Left side floating rear axle replaced, discovered third member is also damaged. Funds depleted
  • Placed for auction on eBay
After replacing the floating axle, I did drive the truck about .25 of a mile before the third member failed. I do not have the means nor the capacity to replace the third member. The truck needs to be sold ASAP... thus any reasonable offer will be accepted. I need to move the truck quickly as I am recently engaged and wedding bills are beginning to pile up.
