1970 Ford Ranchero Country Squire 429 with Marti Report
1970 Ford Ranchero Description
1970 Ford Ranchero Squire. Originally a 429 car. Original motor long gone. Currently has early Ford 460. Car runs and yard drives, but needs complete restoration. Think it has been sitting about 8 years, so it is running off a bottle (gas). Car runs good enough to load on transport truck.
Interior - dash pad has some cracks. Rest of dash is perfect with wood grain. AM radio. Does have fuel and temperature gauge. Couple minor rips in seat. Passenger door panel is mint. Driver's door panel needs some work. Missing headliner, but bows are there. Rug could stand to be replaced.
Car does not have a lot of rust or rot. Car has a little mud here and there. Only rust on car is on driver's side rear floor (pin holes) and around rear wheel wells on inside (minor). Frame rails are perfect - not even surface rust. Also torque boxes, front frame and fire wall all seem to be rust-free. Tailgate and doors seem to have no rust at all. Tailgate latch needs a little work. Tailgate opens but latch sticks closing. Very clean where hinges are. This car wasn't a New England car.
Did Marti Report. Copy in pictures.
Car missing trim around top of windshield. I have front parking light lenses, front grill emblem, the letters F O R D for the tailgate. Car has power disk brakes. Car has factory tinted glass. I think at one point it had after-market air installed from factory because there are two small holes in the firewall with rubber grommets. (Holes neatly done). Car had power steering, but power steering pump is missing. Car is hard to steer, but when you're going, steering is fine. (like manual steering).
Under hood is very clean. Inner fender walls are rust free. Shock towers rust free. Car looks like it has been in primer for a while. Not much body work needed for paint. Paint on top of roof is peeling.
Car has dual exhaust.
Car is to be sold with only a bill of sale and current registration. CAR DOES NOT HAVE A TITLE. Had to put something in Title category.
