1970 Ford Torino Cobra Description

1970 Torino Cobra, J code, 429 cobra jet, 4 speed, 3.50 posi rear. This is a rolling project car. The rear is a 3.50 N case, posi, 31 spline axles, staggered rear shocks. The original engine and transmission are long gone. There is a mid seventies 460 in the engine bay that is loose but should be considered a core.
The car was disassembled by the previous owner with plans to do a full resto. Some of the rare parts that are included are the pedal assembly, 4 speed hump, Z bar, frame and bell brackets for the z bar. I have most of the parts to re-assemble the car. I say most because there is always something missing.
Most of the bolt on body parts are rust free including the front fenders, hood (with twist locks), front and rear valance, trunk lid, passenger door. The drivers door has a little bubbling in the corners. The drivers quarter has some rust but a good used quarter is included for repair. The passenger quarter has a large ugly patch behind the wheel. A repair panel is included for that side as well. Although it is not rust free it will be good for making patch panels. The trunk around the gas tank is rusty and i have a donor patch for that.
The torque boxes and frame rails are solid. From the cowl forward the car is solid and has been painted. The front suspension has been rebuilt with NOS upper and lower control arms, Used big block springs, new rotors, calipers, brakes and KYB shocks. It has the correct cobra front sway bar. The magnums are original Ford 14x7. I have replacement glass for the back and side windows, I have all the window trim. The body VIN matches the dash VIN which matches the clear PA title.
It would be best if you can come see the car in person. If not, I have lots more pictures and can take additional pics as needed. I don't have engine, 4 speed, or shaker parts. Enclosed delivery is available. The vehicle is sold as is. Please ask questions. I try very hard to give honest descriptions, I want you to know what your getting. This is a good car to restore and its a good project. No reserve auction!!!
