1966 Ford Mustang convertible, unrestored, 66,xxx miles
1966 Ford Mustang Convertible Description
This beautiful 3-owner Mustang has never been restored...except for one quality repaint in silver in the 1990s. The interior and top are original to the car, and have no rips, tears, or cracks. The carpet is faded due to sun exposure however. The original power top has had the rear window replaced, and it is clear. The first two owners were Florida residents and the current owner is in North Carolina. The car is always garaged and covered when not driven and has never been exposed to snow, ice or salt. There is one chip in the paint (shown in pics), otherwise the paint just about perfect...no rust. 289-2V engine and C4 auto trans are original to the car, and have not been detailed. It drives out nice and looks just super. I have owned the car since 1999. This Mustang does not have power steering or power brakes. It does have an AM radio. All switches, lights, gauges, etc. work as they should.
I am selling the Mustang along with two other collector cars (1966 Fairlane 500 2-door hardtop and 2001 Corvette convertible) and a very rare motorcycle (1981 Honda CBX-6 cyl.), reducing my collection as I have become handicapped as a result of an accident. The pictures tell the story, as this is a great-looking, great-running, well cared-for automobile. I have many more pictures of the car, including interior, trunk, and under-hood. Contact me with questions.
