1961 Ford Galaxie Town Sedan Description

HISTORY:

• Originally purchased from Missouri estate sale.
• New gas tank, sending unit, vented gas cap, fuel filters and flush fuel system.
• Rebuilt Autolite 4100 carburetor bench set to factory 390 specs.
• New Motor mounts.
• New Battery, cables and ground strap.
• Pressure washed complete undercarriage, undercoated and chassis black paint.
• Rebuilt Transmission, seals, clutches, bearings, output shaft and thrust washer.
• Factory Ford dog dish hubcaps with trim rings and new whitewall tires.
• Original interior including carpets.
• Rust free floors and frame.

MECHANICAL ISSUES:

• Windshield wipers not working - possible vacuum leak.
• Parking brake release handle needs to be replaced - replacement part included with sale.
• Transmission parking pawl broke off due to possible defective valve body. (Vehicle runs and shifts fine, will not go into park on column shifter).
• Speedometer not working (replaced speedometer cable, possible issue with speedometer head).
• Rear quarter panels rusted in usual known areas.

3. Vehicle is advertised locally for best offer and I reserve the right to end the auction early.

4. Vehicle is being sold "as is" with no return and no guarantee or warranty expressed or implied. I have represented the vehicle to the best of my ability. Bidder is responsible satisfaction of the vehicle, vehicle condition and terms of the sale before bidding.

5. The winning bidder is required to make a $1,000 non-refundable deposit through PayPal within 24 hours of auction endingandcontact me to make arrangements to finalize the transaction. Full payment is due within 3 days. If the winning bidder does not make a deposit and contact me within 48 hours of auction close, the vehicle may be made available for another qualified buyer.

6. Final payment options: Cash in person or bank wire transfer are preferred. Cashier's check (certified from US bank) accepted. Vehicle pick up may be delayed until check clears.

7. Buyer is responsible for arranging for vehicle pick up and paying all shipping costs.
