1972 Ford Torino Description

1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport. Original, unrestored, survivor w/ only 47k original miles. 1 registered owner, always garaged. Has not been out of the garage in 30 years, last registered in 1988. Original down to belts, hoses, clamps etc. Only non original parts are the battery, tune up parts, tires, brake parts and mufflers/tailpipes. 351 Cleveland Cobra Jet engine runs strong, quiet, no smoke. C6 transmission, 9" rear with Traction Lok and 3:50 gearing. Interior is near perfect, Rallye gauge package, everything works, AM radio, wipers, heater, lights etc. No rips, tears, stains or cracks, glass is exc. Original paint except top of pass side fender above stripe, which shows some checking and chips. Drivers door was dented and replaced with perfect rust free door, professionally jammed and all hardware and interior swapped over and is in primer, drivers rear quarter has had metal welded in front and rear of wheel well. Not filler, just welded and primed. Some rust present in the extreme corner of the left rear quarter above bumper (see pic), floor shows 2 rust holes under rear seat bottom around the plugs. Frame perfect. I could go on at length but instead feel free to ask questions. Inspections are welcome, I have many more pics and a walk around video of the car running.
The car is stored at my lake house in Maine but I have a business in MA. just North of Boston, use the Wakefield, MA. 01880 address for shipping. I will bring the car to MA. to assist in shipping.
The car is currently registered and insured in my name. Maine does not issue titles for older cars but the registration is certified and comes with a notarized affidavit proving my ownership. Plus I have the last registration from the original owner.
Marti Report is included, see pic. It indicates this Gran Torino is 1 of 154 in this color and trim combination, not sure how many of those are Cobra Jet cars with the Rallye equipment package. Given how rare this car is I am not sure I know what is the right thing to do with it, so I am selling it to some one who hopefully does.
