1956 Ford F-100 Pickup Truck Barn Find Survivor Hot Rod
1956 Ford F-100 Description
1956 Ford F-100 Pickup Truck. This truck is a true Barn Find and Survivor. Until last week it was been sitting in a barn for years. The truck was covered in dust, but basically complete and original. With a little work and some gasoline and a battery it started. It runs well. It appears to have its original 292 Y block and 3 speed manual Transmission. Even the original Air Cleaner is still with it. The aluminum wheels are obviously not original, but they look good on the truck. It looks like the truck has always been black and I'm guessing that someone painted flames on it in the 1980s. The paint has a lot of metal flake in it and it looks like 1980s paint. I am not a painter, so I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Thought about sanding her down and painting over the flames because they are peeling, but everyone who has seen it said they look too cool to cover up. So, here she is, for sale, just as she came from the barn. Like I said, she starts up and idles smoothly. The transmission shifts through the gears. I have not been able to drive her because she has no brakes. I believe with brake work, she could be a daily driver. The truck is very solid and has very little rust. The lights work. All of the Glass is in the truck. The Passenger Window is cracked. The original Seat is torn, but is solid. The original Tail Gate is missing and has been replaced with a wood Tail Gate. Maybe this was a custom touch, but they probably just lost it. The original Bed Floor has also been replaced with plywood. I have posted good pictures, but if you want to see anything that isn't shown, drop me an email and I will respond as soon as possible. I will also try to answer any questions through email. This Truck sells without reserve to the highest bidder. No Reserve. I may be able to assist with delivery, for a fee. Email for a delivery estimate.
