1972 Mustang Q Code Convertible, 12,000 Actual Miles Survivor
1972 Ford Mustang Q Code Description
This a real deal survivor / time capsule Mustang that came out of a well known Ford Dealer's private collection. It has just 12,000 actual miles on the odometer as documented by the title which states "actual miles". The paint is completely original (with a few minor brush touch-ups), as is the top, interior, and drivetrain. The magnum 500 wheels and BF Goodrich tires have been added, but the original wheels, tires, caps, and trim rings will go with the car. The only other "non original" item is the addition of Flowmaster exhaust. A car like this really needed to have that "rumble". All of the original stamps from the factory are still evident, including the 1972 date stamp on the top, and the 1971 stamp on the original top boot bag. I have the original invoice, owner's manual, dealership literature, the deluxe Marti report, and a copy of the original window sticker. The build sheet is assumed to still be in place, but I have never looked. This is an amazing original car that has never let me down. The fuel tank, sending unit, hoses, etc. were updated for driveability. This Mustang is a true Q Code with performance suspension, and (according to the Marti Report) is 1 of 59 with these paint and trim options. You will not find another one like this!
