1969 Ford Galaxie Description

I purchased this vehicle in 2015 from guy claiming it had been stored in barn most of its life. Supposedly the miles on the odometer are original and judging from the wear on the pedals it seems to be true. Also, this car has almost no rust! other than minor surface rust I have only found two minimal spots. One is located under the battery bracket which I replaced, and the other is a very small hole in the trunk. I have posted pictures of both, the one in the trunk is hard to see in the picture. The top is only about 3 years old with a glass back window and is in very good condition other than a small tear in the back, which i also posted a picture of. The tear is in a good non stress spot which can be easily patched. The tear was caused by a small limb falling out of a tree which stabbed directly into it(wasnt a happy camper that day). Has a 2bb 390 in it which had the intake and valve cover gaskets replaced in 2015 along with everything sandblasted and painted. The car seems to be almost completely factory as far as i can tell. Has factory a/c but i havent messed with it so i dont know its condition but i do have a reman a/c compressor that i purchased just in case. Had the dash reupholstered in 2015. The seats are in good condition. carpet could be changed. I have 2 new shocks not put on yet. Top goes up in down smoothly. I would trust this car to go across the country in other than the tires maybe. I really dont think there is a single dent in the car. Some of the trim is dinged up and could use a paint job though. Front brakes were completely gone through about 2 months ago. This is the perfect car to do a complete restoration and spend the minimal amount of money. I really wanted to keep it and have it painted a candy red with a nice white trim on the side but i have 2 years of college left and my parents want their garage space back. Im telling you, if you like this model of car, then this is the one you want! Paint job and she's ready to turn heads! I also have a large tub full of misc extra parts.
