1960 GMC 1000 Custom Description

Very cool original paint truck I purchased in Washington state 2 years ago.When I bought it it had the wrong year hood so I took a very nice original 1960 gmc hood off a 35000 mile fire truck and had it, the cowl and cowl corners painted green to try to match the truckI will update pics with hood on soonThe engine is also the 35000 original mile 305c from the fire truck. Runs fantasticNew parts: all brake hydraulic system from and rear, clutch hydraulic system, front and rear shocks, rear differential and axle bearings, turn signal switch, heater switch, gas tank cleaned and lined, new nos sending unit in gas tank, all rubber hoses front to rear, all engine seals, gaskets and tune up parts, rebuilt original radiator, new heater core, 5 new equivalent to original size 16” radial tires,
I cleaned and painted the floor pan in cab due to some mouse house surface rust,I really tried to preserve the original nature of this truck everywhere that could and still make it functionalEvery mechanical and electrical system on the truck works!
