1936 International Harvester Other Description
NO RESERVE. 1936 International pickup or Franken Truck. Motor is a 300 cu.in. 6 cylinder from a mid '70's Ford F100 pickup. It has the matching transmission. Both have been recently rebuilt. Front end is a Mustang II assembly, with power front disc brakes and power steering. (note: there is a fluid leak at the steering hose junction box, it appears to be a bad seal). Frame is from a 1937 Buick Coupe. 9" inch rear end. Rear fenders from a '47 I.H.C. KB15. Running boards are custom made. Only 950 miles on the build.
The bed is from a '68 Chevy. There is a wooden be, with storage compartment underneath. It has a working heater.
Brand new tires with new artillery wheels.
Paint is decent, but there are some nicks and scratches. There is no rust on floor and frame. New seals around doors, however, this is not a watertight truck to due 80 year old fit and finish.
All glass is original and in great shape, no cracks.Over $22K in build.
