1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata Special Edition Description

This 91' BRG-SE has 51k miles, and was purchased from the original owner last year. This is a factory hardtop car, and the hardtop is in very nice shape, and included with the sale of the car. Soft top is original and the vinyl is excellent. The rear window is clear though there are burn marks from being in direct sunlight at some point. The original owner never took the hardtop off and didn't have a cover over the unzipped window.
Paint is all original and still shines. There are a couple parking lot dings, surface scratches, small chips, bird stains, etc. consistent with a cared for 27 year old car. These cars have single stage paint, so getting them in show condition is much easier than newer base/ clear paints. Original daisies are in great shape, interior is excellent, with zero sticky dash issues. A Couple spots on the passenger floor mat are the only call-out.
Car is 100% original with addition of anOEM style "R" package front lip. When I purchased the car I swapped all fluids out for new Redline, rebuilt shifter, flushed the cooling system, installed new under tray, and replaced all coolant hoses with new OEM. I also replaced the clutch hydraulic cylinders. Car includes the original tan boot, which has only been on the car ~3 times (I opened the bag), number plaque (never been mounted), and original tonneau, which has never been out of the box.
This has been a CO car its whole life and is bone dry! No surprises in the body, and the chassis is exceptionally clean. Aside from a 1k mile road trip last summer, to FM Summer Camp, I only take the car out to go to Cars & Coffee at this point.
This car drives fantastic and it gets compliments everywhere it goes! A professional detail to correct some of the very minor paint flaws would put the car over the top!
I'd love for this car to live with another enthusiast! Please reach out with any questions.
*Please note that this car is being sold with it's original suspension, in perfect working order, not the white Tokico shocks shown in the chassis picture*
