1961 Mercedes Benz 319 Panorama Bus
1961 Mercedes-Benz Other Description
You are bidding on a 1961 Mercedes Benz 319 Bus. This bus need complete restoration. My dad bought this back in 1969 and in 1972 the motor blew so he just parked it in his back yard. Because of that it was exposed to the rain and the nice California sun. Back in 2000 he built a garage large enough to store it and it has been inside since. Most of the engine is there but the valve cover is missing and the carburetor is gone also. The driveshaft has been removed but is in the back of the bus. There is rust on it like on the driver side panel and the front rockers and where the hinges are for the doors. There is other rust but looks like surface rust, This has been in California for most of its life and still got rust on it. About five years ago i did pump up the tires and they did hold air for about a week. As you see in the pitchers most of the glass will need to be replaced. I do think this is a 17 seater but one of the fold down seats is missing. It seems like the floor is made out of plywood and of course will need to be replaced. I do have the original title for it but the keys are long lost. Buyer must make and pay all shipping cost and arrangements. Buyer must pay COD when picking it up or make different payment arrangements. Anyone who lives in the Los Angeles are welcome to come by to check it out before you bid. The only day I can't show it will be the 13th.
