This is a beautiful, 1953 Packard Caribbean convertible in great condition inside and out. This is a true, survivor that has withstood the test of time. This beauty has been pampered all its life and it shows! With this being 1 of only 750 Packard Caribbean?s built in 1953, makes this an incredibly rare find. It has been a one family owned car up until 1988 with only 43K original miles it. The car very original, except for one repaint in its original color several years ago. This Packard in my opinion is "One of the nicest, unmolested with '53 Caribbean's around, offered for sale"!
This car was sold new at Pioneer Packard in Greensburg, PA on 8/31/1953. It even has the original dealers business card, owner identification card, owners service policy and owners manual. The car was in the same family until 1988. It was very well cared for its entire life and keep indoors. A mostly original 1953 Packard is almost unheard of any more and truly a once in a great while find!! This car also runs and drives like a dream. Again it has never been messed with so it drives like it did in 1953. I've driven body off restored cars that don't drive as nice as this one does here!!
It was ordered in Gulf Green metallic with a White top, which is one of the prettiest colors, offered in 1953 with a matching green and white interior. This car retains all its original sheet metal and is completely rust free and solid as rock. You will not find a cleaner body anywhere. She has a beautiful, interior that looks amazing right down to the original carpet! The seats have been redone at one time and look great. I have had the privilege of selling many of these cars but have rarely come across one as nice and original as this one here!

This Beautiful 1953 Packard Caribbean convertible has been meticulously cared for since day one. This car is an absolute must see in person to believe how amazing it really is. It has only been painted once several years ago in its original color of Gulf Green that is still in great condition for its age. Its perfect for an everyday fun car with a few small flaws. All the rubbers in the car are in excellent, pliable condition. All the chrome and trim on the car is all original and in great condition for its age. All the glass in the car is original and in great condition. This car was kept inside and treated, as a true Collector Car should be! It is super straight down the sides. This Packard again only has 43K original miles!
It has a beautiful mostly original interior in it that looks amazing! The green and white seats have been redone look amazing and it even has original carpets. Absolutely everything works in the car except the original radio. All the chrome and trim on the dash is bright and clean. The steering wheel is excellent. Inside the trunk is all original with its original jack in its original box. The white soft top is in excellent condition and works great. The window and top fit is absolutely perfect!
Mechanically, the engine and transmission run flawlessly! This Packard drives with no issues at all! The original, numbers matching 327ci straight eight engine provides great power to move this little diamond around. The car fires right up and runs as it was new. Driving down the road there are no squeaks or rattles and that's wonderful coming from a 63 year old car. All services and regular maintenance have been performed so there will be no surprises! The engine compartment is all-original and very clean. The car is an absolute pleasure to drive. Fire her up and she's ready to cruise. It is sitting on a set of nice white wall tires.

At Close of Auction

All Arizona Buyers must pay 7.3% sales tax!

All successful winning bidders will be responsible for a non-negotiable $299 Document Processing Fee in addition to the winning bid amount.

The successful "winning" bidder must telephone us within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction.
