1969 Plymouth Valiant Description

For sale is my personal 1969 Plymouth Valiant 100 2 Door Post style. These cars are very sought after right now due to their rigidity. It has been restored with PPG paint in the original ice green metallic that is only a couple of years old. Has original style 340 scoop with functional baffles. Originally a slant six car, has been refitted with a 360 based smallblock that has 10.5 to 1 compression, forged pistons, mildly ported 2.02 valve heads, aluminum intake, edelbrock 750 carb that works great (Starts easy, no bogs), K&N filter, headers, mandrel bent exhaust with stainless Pypes violator mufflers and turndowns, MSD ignition, aluminum radiator, electric fan, and more. Has rebuilt 904tf transmission with HD bands and clutches with stock valve body for smooth shifts. Out back is a 8 3/4 rear end with new 3.55 gears and suregrip from Dr. Diff, with green bearings, axles, and rear disc brake conversion kit, and is running new Mopar performance superstock leaf springs with AR engineering adjustable front hangers. Front end has been completely redone with factory late a body disc brake and control arm setup. Has big bolt pattern all the way around so you have more wheel options.
I purchased this car about 3 months ago and the above work was done by the previous owner. I have put a new starter and alternator on the car since I have had it.
Car is currently set up to look like a nostalgia Super Stocker with the billet centerlines/firestone skinnies in the front, and Wheel Vintiques Chrysler steels in the rear with M&H DOT legal street slicks.a
No rust or bubbles on the body, just a couple of small chips. Very nice glass, and the doors open and shut like a new one! Nice fresh legendary bench interior with the shifter still on the column, nothing cut up, just the addition of a Kenwood stereo and JL speakers. Has Fender tag and build sheet.
This is a real head turner and is really complete. It's not a concourse show car, but is super nice. Runs and drives great... the only issue is the oil pressure reads about 70lbs when cold and drops as it warms up. It still maintains well over 10 lbs per 1k rpms, but seems a little low. That being said, the engine sounds incredible, and it runs great. It could be a gauge issue, sender, oil pump, or it just may have lower oil pressure. I really don't know. It has not changed in the 3 months or so I have owned it and it was like that when I bought it for 13500.00. Also has what sounds like a header leak. Only reason for selling, is I am gathering money to open a store for my business. Priced to sell. Serious inquiries only please. Clean KY title ready to go.
