1966 Plymouth Valiant Station Wagon - 50 Year Birthday!
1966 Plymouth Other Description
Happy 50th Birthday! 1966 Plymouth Valiant. Slant 6 engine, 3 speed manual transmission (3 on the tree). Car began its life in CA, made it's way to Nebraska where it spent most of its life, then a short stint in Pennsylvania which is where I bought it 3 years ago, then a brief time in Ohio and CURRENTLY resides in MINNEAPOLIS, MN. Body is super solid, and straight. It was obviously parked by feel on a few occasions. So while the quarters aren't rusty, they could be replaced for cosmetics. (Note: Lawson's has patch panels but be fore to specify 1965 Valiant quarters, they used them for the wagons ONLY in 1966. After I bought the car a few years ago, I upgraded to 14" wheels - the two rears are 340 Dart wheels (5-1.2" wide) and new tires all around. Also recovered the front seat. New carb, battery, tune up. Replacement exhaust (pipes only) goes with the car, not installed (not currently necessary) Runs drives shifts and stops. I have not put a lot of miles on this car since I purchased it, but do not hesitate to ask questions. Thanks for your interest in the half-century old wagon. NOTE: CAR IS IN MINNEAPOLIS, MN.
