1987 Porsche 944 Base Coupe 2-Door Description

1987 Porsche 944Car runs and drives great, I use it as a daily driver at the moment. Heat works good and has a adjustable single serpentine belt set-up (ac delete) for more power and more room. All the a/c equipment is there but the compressor has been removed. There are little things that need work, I would like to call this a driving project car, or great weekend track, HPDE, or autocross car. The odometer and speedometer stopped working. The door locks give me trouble unlocking when very cold out, its 20deg out now. The sunroof motor and trunk latch motor also dont work. The car does not overheat or have any clutch, transmission or engine issues. The timing belt is new, I replaced the belts in August 2016. Battery is new and there are no drains, can sit for days and start right up. Car actually has great power and the clutch is very strong, was replaced by previous owner but I do not have any paper work. The brakes and shifter are also very good. Car handles and tracks very well, thats why this car would be a great weekend toy, I have a small collection of Porsches and only wanted to fix this up to drive until my new job starts which is Jan 2017, so time for someone else to have a fun backup Porsche...I mean its $2500 and it runs strong! Also, about 2 weeks ago I did have the paint matched and purchased a quart of this blue with intent of painting, but that quart of paint will also go with the car. The title is clean and ready for new owner. The paint obviously needs work, but not all panels need to be painted, but thats up to the new owner. There is also no rust! Also has the rare Porsche "scripted" door handles, those alone go for $300 on ebay. Has a newer cold air intake set-up which helps the power a bit. Has double adjustable front Koni Coilover suspension and has been lowered 1" in the rear. Suspension is stiff but not rough and no rattles. Also has the rare optional 944 sewer lids, not 928. I would suggest installing the manual roof latches from a 83/84' 944 so that way you can delete all the weird power roof cables. All lights work great and has newer front valance and new fog lights! Has a dash cover that was installed many years ago but still looks good, and the front seats are manual leather seats that were dyed black some time ago, seats look good though. You could part this car and make money but I just cant do that, clean title that runs and drives.
