For sale is a 1968 911T Targa vin #11870248 and it is 1 of 521 made. In 1968 Porsche did not export any 911T’s or S’s to the US due to smog requirements so this is a euro car. The mileage is 95,389. I have had the car for the last 7 years and had plans to restore it but have decided to sell it and focus on another Porsche I have. The car has been on a non-op registration since 1990. It is a clean title. The car is minus the engine and trans which were gone when I bought the car but otherwise it’s a pretty complete car.
The exterior is in good condition overall and came with S-trim and S brakes/vented rotors. There are two areas that have rust that will need to be repaired. The front half of the suspension pan which includes the battery tray will need to be replaced and the passenger side rear door seal area will need to be repaired. There is also a dent in the right side rear quarter panel. Pictures show these areas. There is minor surface rust in a few areas below the rear window. Other than these areas the car is pretty straight.
The interior is complete and good condition. The seats are nice with no tears or rips. The door panels are 1 year only and pretty nice. The rear seats will need to updated.
Again it is being sold minus the engine and trans but the remaining car is basically complete and original. This is a great candidate for a restoration.
The car is being sold as is as a roller as is.
