1972 Triumph GT6 MKIII Description

For sale here is a 1972 Triumph GT6 MKiii. As can be seen in the pictures and videos, this GT6 and is in great Body, Engine, and Interior condition. Please look at the Youtube video links I have posted. This has been my weekend fun drive car for a couple years and I am not in a hurry to sell. My reason for selling is that I am simply ready to try something new. Would be interested in trades for VW beetle, Bug, Kharmann Ghia, 944 or 914 Porsche.

Here is the good;Body is nice and straight. The paint is a pearl white finish and shines up nicely. I had plans to paint it silver, but I decided to leave as is. All the rubber seals are in excellent shape and look like they were recently replaced. All glass panels look original. The frame and floor pans look to be solid. The driver side pan had some minor rust repair done and I recently had them zinc coated re finished. It is nearly a 50 year old car, so yes, there is some surface rust here and there, but nothing that can't be easily fixed. I had to leave the new owner something to do :-). The Interior is my favorite part. It is all there and still in stock condition. Seats slide nicely. Windows roll up and down nicely.
The Engine was also rebuilt by previous owner about 5 or 6 years ago and it sounds amazing. The transmission shifts nicely and no, no over drive :-(. Has new speedometer cable, steering rack and sway bar bushings. Brand new tires. The electrical is in great shape and lights and blinkers work fine. All gauges function properly. It is a blast to drive. No, it does not over heat!! Yay!!

What I will include with Buy it now price, or an offer close to it;
Extra complete engine with dual Zenith carbsA Ford T9 transmission for a future 5 spd. conversionAn extra set of wire wheels and new tires on them.
A truck bead load of extra parts such as; Doors, seats windows and a bunch of misc exterior and interior parts...way too many to list.
The bad;The paint has a few dings and chips here and there.The horn does not workNo radio
The gas cap will need a new gasket.Yes, it leaks oil.... Its British....its supposed to.

I will require a $500 deposit when buying now, or if I accept an offer and will need full payment before I release the car. I am willing to help deliver to shipping truck if shipping at buyers expense.
Low ball offers will be ignored.

Check out my 72 MGB GT running project also listed. **. ***
