This 1971 Triumph GT6wasmanufactured in April 1971,the Vin Number KF2317 L is on the Title and Registration and Data Plates mounted on the vehicle This vehicle had been stored for over twenty years in the high desert of Southern California before I acquired it and returned it to a running vehicle. It is a driver that has won several awards at different car shows over the last six years. This car is not a trailer queen and is driven regularly, approximately 21000 miles in the last six years. I have driven this vehicle on several multi-day tours (Milles [one thousand plus mile multi-day road trips]) and numerous day tours in and around California, Arizona, and Nevada without issue. This 1971 Triumph GT6 is a solid rust-free vehicle for its age and can be driven without issues in its present state and condition. It has the original Triumph straight six (1998cc engine # KF1455HE ), a four-speed overdrive transmission (3rd and 4th gear), five new tires installed October 2018 at approx 78046 miles. A spin on oil filter with oil cooler was installed to provide easier servicing and extra oil to the system (original filter housing will accompany the sale of the car) also an auxiliary fan was installed with a manual control to assist with cooling. Auxiliary driving lights are installed for better lighting at night. A new exhaust system was installed in August 2018. Mileage shown on the odometer is approximate (as of June 16, 2019, is 81184), true total millage is unknown due to the odometer being rebuilt (by West Valley Instruments of Las Angles, CA.) at time of the frame on restoration in Nov 2013 - July 2014. A complete new interior was installed in June 2014 and is in good condition, the paint is single stage Signal Red 32 which is the original color from the manufacturer (paint condition is an 8+ out of 10) and a small amount of paint plus the color code mix will accompany the car.
