Needs total restoration, but is a solid builder.
1961 Triumph Herald Description
1961 Triumph Herald Convertible. Solid builder. Obviously disassembled. This is the 948 Herald Convertible. This is an early example. Not too many left. Many parts are bagged. Have all parts for the car. Engine is free and not seized. Not shown are the door panels, rear seat back, rockers, heater, radiator. Appears that the body was off the frame at some point as the bottom of the floor pans are blue, but the frame wasn't painted. Floors are very solid, but cannot offer any explanation why the drivers floor has a cut out as it is solid. Overall, the body is very solid with little signs of rust. The fiber dashboard is solid and in tact, but needs some surfacing. There are some extra gauges, new turn and light switches, engine bearings and other misc parts. I also have an extra engine, less manifolds that is out of a 1961 convertible. Will include a factory repair manual and parts manual. Note the vin tag has been poorly stamped from the factory, hence the title has just the 5 numbers 18054 on it. I can include a new vin tag. I have too many cars and not enough time for this one. Thanks for looking.Ask questions.Buyer is responsible for shipping.
