1970 Dodge Challenger
w/ R/T hood - rear valance
Az SW survivor
FAIR RESERVE ...bid on it to win !
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS ON HAND
AND SERIOUS ABOUT BUYING THIS CAR, PERIOD.
This is one of my fav personal cars Ive had about 20 yrs now
But think its time to let it go so others can enjoy it. I love this
car, but also need to thin the heard some as I only drive it like
once every few months. You cant drive it anywhere without
people breaking their necks trying to get a look at it while in
traffic. Its been in the restoration stage for the last 15 yrs while
also being a driver once in a while
We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors
and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This car has been in Az for prob most of its life, tracking back its history over
20 yrs its been in Az (prob longer) VERY SOLID Floors, subframe etc. SEE PICS
Body isnt bad, it was painted a few yrs ago the Sublime green and really the prep
and body work under the current paint is not good. Its not restored, but this is a running
driving Mopar that you can take apart and restore anyway you want. Some real PROs
on this car are: Original color was Orange. Factory AC car and dash, Nice original black
interior in decent shape, running and driving 318 car. Some R/T parts added over the yrs.
Clean AZ title, reputable Ebay seller with 100 pics and excellent feedback. Some CONs about
the car, once painted Plum Crazy and then Sublime. Will still need alot of resto, trunk pan is
probably the worst area of rust and repair needed.
Best of all is the lack of rot and rust most of these cars experienced
after 45+ yrs. Lots more info below:
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND
BUILD ANYWAY YOU WANT, NO HARM NO FOUL !
Excellent Investment / Clean Clear Arizona Title

make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: I wont end it early, sorry.
DRIVETRAIN: Under the hood, the 318 runs decent, seeing as the car
has been parked alot in the last few yrs. It has an obvious exhaust
leak, but it starts all the time and I just drove it myself across town
with no issues. Auto trans and rearend and feel fine. Tiny bit of smoke
out the exhaust on both sides. Could be carb related or just some
oil from age. Factory PS feels really smooth and makes the car easy
to drive. This was a factory AC car, but as you can see, pretty much
most if not all is missing under the hood. Inside the car, all seems
to be still intact.
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, its used but works fine
for a driver. Dash is cracked from the Az heat, carpet faded
and headliner coming loose, but the front and rear seats not
bad shape for their age. Door panels decent too. Speedo bounces
when driving, temp gauge looks to be working, but not sure if the
gas and oil pressure are working. Blinkers and brake lights not working
but headlights and tails do. Someone installed a push button on
the dash to engage the starter now with the key on. The interior
too will need some resto. Factory A/C car, also common for cars sold
here in the SW back in the 70s. All the dash stuff seems to be still
intact inside at least.
EXTERIOR:the body has a few bumps, rear bumper area and a
few around the car. Paint could prob be cut and buffed out if you
wanted to try and save it. Originally the car had a vinyl top, now
long gone, but the roof was sanded and painted yrs ago to keep nice
until a new vinyl top was installed. The trim you see missing off the
car around the F/R glass and along the tops of the doors is loose in the
trunk and in nice shape. Glass all good, doors all work fine, and front
grill looks to be in nice shape. Ft bumper nice, rear bumper was bumped into. You cant drive downthe road without people giving you thumbs up and people wanting to see it when you are getting gas. It commands alot of attention. Even AS IS with the paint issues, people love it.
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can
tell, and PS works nice. Not sure what all is worn out in the
front or rear, but again just drove it across town the other day
and didnt hear any crazy clunks or noise. Handled really nice
actually for a stock height old muscle car on 14" tires, even when
going around corners. Mopar rallys are cool, no spare in the trunk
or jack components. Again, the car looks cool in pics, but at best
a 20 footer and needs alot of resto. Factory drum brakes all around
feel okay, but they prob could use some updates and future
repairs. Its stops okay, but feels like at the very least they could
be bled for a more positive feel. I drove it across town etc the other
day, ...good idea not to follow anyone too close to be safe.
Minimal rust or rot on the car, nothing like an Eastcoast car.
The AZ climate has been good to this car. Ive not noticed any
previous rust repairs to the lower portions of the car, and
knowing its history and how clean it is underneath, I doubt its
needed any rust repairs. Body work again or prep work done
under the green paint, no so good at all.
Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
